Maintenance of pumping stations for pumping oil, petroleum products, mobile power plants, steam boiler houses, tank farms, pipeline communications, loading and loading railway and truck loading racks and oil piers, compressors, pumps, internal combustion engines and steam boilers. Regulation of the operating mode of engines and pumps when pumping petroleum products, unloading and unloading railway tanks, loading tank cars, and intra-base pumping from tank to tank. Preventive inspection, troubleshooting, current and major repairs, lubrication, start-up and shutdown of serviced equipment. Technical inspection tanks and ships. § 11a. Oil distribution depot equipment operator, 7th category

Characteristics of work. Management of equipment of oil depots that supply (sale) petroleum products with a potential annual supply (sales) capacity of over 130 thousand tons. Maintain and regulate the specified operating mode of the equipment. Maintenance of tank farm equipment, pumping stations, pumps, compressors, mobile power plants, internal combustion engines, electric motors, generators, control equipment, boiler units and boiler equipment. Management and performance of work on preventive inspection, troubleshooting, routine and major repairs, lubrication, start-up and shutdown of equipment at distribution tank farms. Participation in the development of current schedules for repair and testing of equipment, development of measures to improve the quality of repair work, improve the operation of equipment, routine maintenance and increasing the service life of equipment between repairs. Participation in the installation and dismantling of oil depot equipment. Maintaining technical documentation.

1. GENERAL OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

1.1. Persons over 18 years of age who have passed a medical examination, theoretical and practical training, tested knowledge of labor protection requirements in the prescribed manner and have received admission to independent work.
1.2. A petroleum distribution tank equipment operator may be exposed to toxic substances, elevated temperatures, electric current, and vibration.
1.3. The equipment operator for oil distribution depots must be provided with special clothing and safety footwear in accordance with current standards:
— a suit for protection against oil and petroleum products made of mixed fabrics or a suit made of fire-resistant fabrics based on a mixture of meta- and para-amide fibers;
- a raincoat for protection from water;
— leather boots with a hard toe cap;
— rubber boots with a hard toe box;
— dielectric gloves;
— gloves with polymer coating;
— knitted gloves with dot coating;
— protective helmet;
— balaclava under the helmet;
— safety glasses;
— anti-noise headphones (with mounting on a helmet);
— mask or half mask with replaceable filters;
- safety belt.
In winter additionally:
— a suit for protection against oil and petroleum products made of mixed fabrics with an insulating lining or from fire-resistant fabrics based on a mixture of meta- and para-amide fibers with an insulating lining;
- insulated vest;
— insulated underwear;
— insulated leather boots with a hard toe cap;
— polymer-coated gloves, oil-freeze-resistant;
— wool gloves (liners).
1.4. The operator of equipment for oil distribution depots must be well aware of and strictly comply with the requirements of labor protection, fire safety, and industrial sanitation.
1.5. The equipment operator of oil distribution depots must be able to use primary fire extinguishing means, know their locations and monitor their serviceability.
1.6. It is prohibited to use fire equipment for purposes other than its intended purpose.
1.7. The tool used must be in good working order and made of a material that prevents sparking.
1.8. Storage of lubricants is allowed in the designated place in quantities not exceeding the daily requirement. Lubricants should be stored in special metal or plastic containers with tightly closed lids.
1.9. Do not store flammable liquids in the pump room.
1.10. For local lighting or in the absence of electricity, the equipment operator of oil distribution depots should use a portable battery-powered lamp in an explosion-proof design with a voltage not exceeding 12 V.
1.11. It is prohibited to use open flame sources for this purpose.
1.12. Smoking and eating are permitted only in areas specially designated for this purpose.

2. LABOR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS BEFORE STARTING WORK

2.1. Wear the required protective clothing and safety shoes. Overalls should be buttoned and tucked in so that there are no loose ends.
2.2. Read the entries in the operation log of the pumping units.
2.3. When accepting a shift, the oil distribution tank equipment operator is obliged to:
— check the serviceability of process equipment and grounding;
— availability and serviceability of fire-fighting equipment;
— availability of personal protective equipment, means of degassing spilled leaded gasoline;
— check the operation of ventilation units and electrical equipment.
2.4. 30 minutes before starting the pumps, you should (if there is a ventilation room) turn on the exhaust ventilation and ventilate the pump room. Starting pumps when the ventilation is faulty or switched off is prohibited.
2.5. Before starting the pump, it is necessary to carry out an external inspection of it and the drive.
2.6. It is necessary to ensure that the provided instrumentation is available and that it is in good working order.
2.7. All open and accessible moving parts of the pump unit must be protected by secured guards.

3. OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS DURING WORK

3.1. While the pump unit is operating, it is necessary to:
- constantly monitor the readings of control and measuring instruments: pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, pressure-vacuum gauges and temperature sensors - parameters technological process must comply with the specified;
— do not allow the pumping unit to operate in the presence of extraneous or increased noise and knocking;
— supervise the tightness of seals of pumps, pipelines and their fittings.
3.2. The equipment operator of oil distribution depots is prohibited from:
- allow unauthorized persons into the pumping room;
— repair pumps during their operation, fastening studs, tightening bolts both on moving parts of the pump and on pipelines under pressure;
— when operating pumps, touch moving parts, as well as lubricate bearings;
— start up the units when the ventilation in the pump room is faulty or turned off;
— carry out repairs of electrical networks and electrical equipment in pumping stations.
3.3. The operator of equipment for distribution oil depots must ensure that the passages between the pumps are not cluttered and that the approaches to them are free from all sides for maintenance.
3.4. Used cleaning material must be placed in a metal box with a locking lid, which should be emptied daily. Contaminated cleaning material should be disposed of in a landfill or burned in a designated area.

4. OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS IN EMERGENCIES

4.1. In the event of an emergency, the equipment operator of oil distribution tank farms must act in accordance with the emergency response plan.
4.2. In the event of a fire in the pumping station, the operator of the oil distribution depot equipment must turn off the power, close the valves on the input and output lines of the pumps, call the fire department by calling 101, report the incident to the management of the enterprise, and take measures to extinguish the fire.
4.3. If any malfunction is detected that interferes with the normal operation of the pump, it must be stopped. All noticed deficiencies must be recorded in the operation log of the pumping units, and the enterprise management (or the shift supervisor) must be notified.
4.4. Do not start the pump until all faults have been eliminated.
4.5. In the event of a sudden interruption in the power supply, the equipment operator at oil distribution depots must immediately disconnect the pump motors from the power supply, and then close the valves on the suction and pressure pipelines of the pumps.
4.6. In the event of an accident, the equipment operator of oil distribution depots is obliged to provide the victim with first aid and, if necessary, call an ambulance medical care by calling 103, inform your immediate supervisor and keep the situation at the workplace unchanged until the investigation, unless it creates a threat to workers and does not lead to an accident.

5. LABOR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AFTER COMPLETION OF WORK

5.1. Hand over duty to the shift operator of equipment for distribution oil depots with an entry in the operation log of pumping units about all noticed shortcomings, malfunctions, instructions, orders of management. It is forbidden to leave workplace before the shift arrives.
5.2. In case of non-arrival of the replacement equipment operator of oil distribution tank farms, notify management or the shift supervisor.
5.3. The equipment operator for oil distribution depots must put his workplace in order and change clothes. Overalls and safety shoes should be stored separately from personal clothing.
